Loose canopy
This happens due to a number of reasons or causes, the major one being a haphazardly setting up of the shelter. The best way and tool to fix a loose canopy is use a spreader bar to properly and carefully spread the loose cover. Once you have gotten yourself a spreader bar, start by reading the instructions and then exactly following them so as to avoid issues when spreading the cover. Note also that different spreader bars work in different ways. Whichever you bought, make sure to place it between the top of the shelter frame and the cover and then cranking it to expand the bar. This has the effect of filling the space and pushing the cover up and back into its initial or original place.
Buckled or bent supports
This problem is most prevalent during the winter as a result of snow weighing down the roof of the shelter. The best way to prevent the supports from buckling or bending is to remove accumulated snow as soon as it is noticed, that is before it puts too much stress on the roof. Use mop to pull snow down from the outside of the shelter. Please avoid using brooms to clean it which can damage your cover. Be careful when you push the snow or other debris loaded on the roof top.
If the support beams are already too bent or buckled, it is recommended that you have them replaced before the damage gets more serious. Failure to do so means that your temporary shelter eventually could fall down, damaging the vehicle or items stored under it.
