Build a Portable Greenhouse in Your Garden

Do you get ready to start your greenhouse growing now? When you have made a decision about what plants you intend to grow, and select a proper greenhouse which meets all your requirements, the next thing you will do is to build it on a suitable place in your garden. Building a portable greenhouse does not need to be expensive or time-consuming. What you ought to notice when you build it.

1. Select a good location.

Due to the flowers need a good environment for sprouting, the temperature and the air humidity must be appropriate, so selecting a site where the flowers can get maximum sunlight all year round is top priority. The south or southeast side of shade trees or your house is the first option of location. Sunlight all day is best, but morning sunlight on the east side is more sufficient for plants. Morning sunlight is most desirable, because it makes the plant’s food production process begin early, thus growth is maximized. The east side site captures the most November to February sunlight. The next best sites are southwest and west of greenhouse, where plants receive sunlight later in the day. North of major structures is the least desirable location and it is good only for plants which require little light and heat.

2. Think of foundations and floors.

The lasting foundations should be provided for glass, fiberglass, or the double-layer rigid-plastic sheet materials. The manufacturer should provide plans for the foundation construction. Most of home greenhouses require a poured concrete foundation which is similar to those in residential houses. Greenhouses with pipe frames and a plastic cover use posts driven into the ground. However, the lasting floor is not recommended, because it may keep wet and slippery from soil mix media. A concrete, gravel, or stone walkway 24 to 36 inches wide can be built for easy access to the plants. The rest of the floor should be covered by several inches of gravel for draining off excess water. Water also can be sprayed on the gravel to produce humidity in the greenhouse.

3. Choose one with excellent solar performance, reinforced ground bar and high quality material.

Portable greenhouse, which fills with excellent solar performance, reinforced ground bar and high quality material, takes less time to construct. Put up the steel frame to which attached bows of PVC pipe. The reinforced ground bar will establish the whole greenhouse. Then cover the UV-protected and rip-stop cover on the arch roof and fix it to the white powder coated steel frame.

After portable greenhouse being built, you can pot the plants seeds.
